Airbnb will provide free housing to residents fleeing Hurricane Dorian and disaster relief workers, the company said.
Airbnb's "Open Homes" program will be available through Sept. 16, with more than 800 hosts opening their doors throughout the southeastern United States, the Miami Herald reported.
The program will be available in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina, the newspaper reported.
Here are the available listings.
More than 30 Airbnb locations around Florida were available as of Monday morning, according to the Herald. Many of those locations are outside of the projected path of the hurricane, the newspaper reported.
"Airbnb's Open Homes program continues to be activated for those affected by Hurricane Dorian across the southeast U.S. region," Kellie Bentz, Airbnb's head of global disaster response and relief, told the Herald. "We encourage hosts to open up their homes, and those who need housing to take advantage of the program."
The program was activated earlier last week when Dorian threatened Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands, WTSP reported. It was expanded to include the Southeast on Sunday, according to the television station.
According to Airbnb, the Open Homes program has been activated 10 times in the United States and its territories since 2012, when Hurricane Sandy hit the Northeast, WTSP reported.
The program was activated during Hurricane Harvey in 2017 and Tropical Storm Barry earlier this year, the television station reported.
