You may not know his name, but you have seen his picture.
After serving his time, Jeremy Meeks is getting ready to start a new life.
Meeks is the convict whose mug shot took the Internet by storm in 2014 because he didn't look like a typical inmate.
Meeks was released from prison on Tuesday, ABC News reported.
He was sentenced to 27 months in prison in February 2015 on weapons charges.
Meeks was arrested in June 2014 after police found him in possession of semi-automatic handgun and two extended magazines. Police said he was a member of the Northside Gangster Crips, the Los Angeles Times reported.
Meeks was met by his wife and children before he was moved to a transitional housing facility. He will be there for a few weeks before he is released from custody.
His mug shot went viral, and Meeks was getting modeling offers while he was still behind bars. He kept his fans updated about his life in prison through Instagram.
Meek's agent released a statement about what he plans to do after he's a free man.
"We have a lot in store regarding Jeremy's new career," Jim Jordan said. "There are a multitude of offers on the table. Jeremy is humbled and grateful and overwhelmed by the outpouring of love, support and prayers for him and his family."
