A bus carrying an Indiana high school boys basketball team to a semifinal game on Saturday rolled over and injured at least 14 people.
No one was killed in the accident, but one person was airlifted to a hospital. Other passengers were also taken to area hospitals.
“One gentleman had to be extracted from the bus by the emergency crew,” Mark Kadowaki, a North Carolina surgeon who came upon the accident, told The Northwest Times. “Everyone else was able to come out of the bus under their own power or with assistance.”
The game between Griffith High and Marion was postponed, according to the Indian High School Athletic Association.
