A Utah woman is making sure the Grinch’s heart doesn’t shrink and she’s giving a family who is battling cancer some hope and happiness.

Sheena Rose started her group "The Giving Grinch" 20 years ago. She dresses up as the Grinch to collect blankets, clothes, jackets and money to provide Christmas for kids who would otherwise not have a holiday.

Recently she found out that a mom, whose two children Rose takes care of at her day care, was diagnosed with terminal cancer, KSTU reported.

She and some friends jumped into action before it was too late.

“The Giving Grinch” organized a week-long trip to Disneyland, all expenses paid.

Rose, dressed as the Grinch and joined by Disney Princesses, presented the gift to the Bath family, KSTU reported.

First they gave the mother, father, and two young girls candy and Easter eggs. But it was four golden eggs that held the dream trip.

"To be able to spend time at Disneyland and just see the happiness on their faces, and it's one of my favorite places, it will be just be really amazing," McKinzy Bath told KSTU.
