After 57 years married, their love story went viral with a photoshoot inspired by the Nicholas Sparks' book-turned-film "The Notebook."

Now two years later, Clemma and Sterling Elmore celebrated the wedding they never had when they got married.

The long-lasting couple got married six decades ago at their local courthouse, WIS reported.

But in 2018, they finally walked down the aisle at a church to say “I do.”

This year’s celebration of love and a long life together began with Clemma Elmore popping the question to her husband Sterling.

And then like any bride, she picked out her dream dress.

Moliere Bridal in Oklahoma City let Clemma be the princess for the day and gave her the chance to pick any dress she wanted, Stacy Welch-Christ, owner of Mary Evelyn Photography, told WIS.

“She hollered out, ‘I say yes to this dress’ when she found the one,” Welch-Christ said of the magical shopping moment.

All gussied up in their finery, the couple went to the altar to renew their love for one another.

"We had it at our little white church house, which we call 'Our Place to Gather' and even though it rained all day, we were all in tears with how special it was. The little bridesmaids sang 'Amazing Grace' and it was just like we went back in time in that little church house," Welch-Christ told WIS.

And “The Notebook” theme that they set in 2016 carried through to the 2018 wedding, Welch-Christ said.
