Toys R Us is back!
The first retail store opens Wednesday at Westfield Garden State Plaza in Paramus, New Jersey, USA Today reported.
The mid-week opening is technically a soft opening. The grand opening is Saturday and will include character visits and giveaways.
A second retail location will open in Houston on Dec. 1, and other stores will open over the next year, NJ.com reported.
The stores' openings come 17 months after all Toys R Us stores closed, USA Today reported.
Toys R Us has started a resurgence of sorts over the past few weeks with the opening of Toys R Us Adventure locations in Chicago and Atlanta and the relaunch of the company's website.
It also has started a partnership with Target, NJ.com reported.
The company filed for bankruptcy in 2017, NJ.com reported.
