Formerly conjoined twins Carter and Conner Mirabal were able to spend some time together three months after their separation surgery.
The twin boys were born on Dec. 12, 2014, and completely separated on May 7.
On Aug. 12, Carter was moved from the Intensive Care Unit to the sixth floor, two rooms away from his brother.
Hospital staff allowed the twins to greet each other in the hallway. It was the first time they have touched in three months, according to the Prayers for Carter and Conner Facebook Page.
The post says, “There wasn’t much of a reaction between the two boys. I think they were kind of confused.”
The boys were together for about five minutes. They will reportedly be able to go to the playroom together and go on walks around the hospital together soon.
