Florida lottery officials announced Thursday afternoon that Selvyn Cormack bought a winning Gold Rush Doubler Scratch-Off ticket from a Marathon Gas Station in Belle Glade.

Cormack chose to receive the money as a one-time lump sum payment of $745,000.

A Gold Rush Doubler scratch-off ticket costs $20 and has prizes up to $5 million. Cormack won one of 30 $1 million prizes, the lottery said.

The Marathon Gas Station where Cormack bought the ticket, on Southwest 16th Street near Belle Glade Excel Charter School, received $2,000 from the lottery.
