A man was flown to a hospital after falling three stories off the roof of a building in Cocoa while possibly doing parkour, the Cocoa Police Department said.
The man fell from the building early Sunday and suffered a possible head injury, police said.
Witnesses told police they saw the man and two others on the building's roof several minutes prior to the man falling.
Police said the men were possibly involved in parkour, which they described as jumping from building to building.
According to Merriam Webster, parkour is "the sport of traversing environmental obstacles by running, climbing, or leaping rapidly and efficiently."
Many who take part in the activity upload videos of themselves doing it to YouTube.
None of the witnesses saw the men jumping between buildings, police said, but they did hear and see the men on the roof.
Police said the men were able to get on top of the building via a ladder around back that “was not secure.”
The victim was flown to Holmes Regional Hospital by First Flight, police said. His condition was not immediately known.
