One of the flag bearers for the Jax Pack team with the Jacksonville Jaguars decided to defy Hurricane Matthew by waving an American flag and jamming out to some metal music in the midst of the storm.

Lane Pittman, the man featured in the home video, confidently stood in the middle of the street in a Jacksonville Beach neighborhood. In the video posted on Facebook Friday, his long hair was whipping around as the flag waved to "Raining Blood" by metal-band Slayer.

According to the video's post description, Pittman said he "had a request for some hair action during the 'cane."

As of Saturday, the video has over 12 million views.

Earlier last summer, Pittman was the musician accused of disturbing the peace after playing the national anthem on the Fourth of July in Neptune Beach.
