Photos of 510-pound bear that a 26-year-old woman shot and killed in Hyde County, North Carolina, are going viral.
Eva Shockey, 26, claims to have killed the bear on Friday.
Shockey is co-host with her father on the “Jim Shockey’s Hunting Adventures” on the Outdoor Channel.
Shockey told The Blaze that she called it the “biggest bear of my life.”
She posted the photos to her Facebook page and immediately began receiving backlash from anti-hunters.
Thousands of comments flooded her account with one of them telling her to “kill that little worthless dog you have instead” of the bear.
Shockey replied, saying, “Apparently hunting a bear, eating/donating all of the meat and putting money towards conservation is a bad thing, but killing my puppy is OK. If this logic isn’t totally insane, I don’t know what is.”
