7-Eleven invites Slurpee aficionados to bring their own cup

Slurpee fans can extend their brain freeze this weekend.
7-Eleven is offering fans of the sippable, frozen beverage to bring in their own cup and fill it for $1.50 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
There are some limitations.
- The cup cannot be larger than 10 inches in diameter,
- it must be food-safe clean
- it must be watertight.
7-Eleven started the promotion with one day in 2015. They expanded it to two days the following year in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Slurpee.
