Does this frog look like Kermit?

Looks like Kermit has a doppelganger!

Similar to the glass frog, the new species known as Hyalinobatrachium dianae has been discovered in the Talamanca mountains of Costa Rica. The green-colored frog has translucent skin which allows its organs to show through. But what really has people taking a second look is this amphibian's black and white eyes that make it look just like the famous Muppet Kermit the Frog!

According to the Costa Rican Amphibian Research Center, Dr. Brian Kubicki photographed the new frog and details the discovery in a study along with zoologist Stanley Salazar and Robert Puschendorf. Dr. Kubicki named the frog after his wife.

The frog had previously been missed by other researchers in the area because of its unusual call: it sounds more like an insect than a frog.
