A Starbucks mug, only available at Walt Disney World has been pulled from shelves after the realization that the mug had an image of a monorail similar to one that was involved in a deadly accident.
The mug showed images from Epcot theme park is colored in shades of purple, blue and grey, including a monorail with a purple stripe.
Purple was retired for use on the monorail after the 2009 accident. As the Huffington Post reported then, a monorail backed into the purple train driven by Austin Wuennenberg.
Wuennenberg was killed.
The Epcot mug is part of the "You Are Here" series of Starbucks mugs, featuring icons from each of the parks in both Walt Disney World in Florida and Disneyland in California.
