Being a celebrity has its downsides.
For example, sometimes people mistake you for a bank robber when that's not one of the "Dirty Jobs" you're used to doing.
Well, if you're "Dirty Jobs" host Mike Rowe, that is.
Earlier this week the popular TV show host took to Facebook to say he is not the one who robbed an Oregon bank on Monday, despite surveillance photographs showing a culprit that looks a lot like him.
Medford, Oregon, police posted photos of the robber on Facebook earlier this week.
After comparisons were drawn between the bank robber and Rowe, the celebrity took to his Facebook page to address the mix-up.
Rowe says he is no stranger to the Oregon town and that there is a resemblance to him and the robber, but ultimately the culprit is too short, too skinny and not attractive enough to be him. And apparently there are Mike Rowe Halloween masks, too.
Rowe said he could prove he was in Kansas on the day of the robbery, and Medford police have cleared him of the crime.
