A sheriff's lieutenant's 10-year-old daughter picked up her father's gun, which had been left on the bed while he was getting ready for work, and accidentally shot her 8-year-old sister, Fresno police said Friday. (Source: LATimes)
The gunshot wound was in the younger girl’s lower torso and did not appear to be life-threatening, police said.
