A deputy in Florida was arrested after drugs were found during a traffic stop.

The Associated Press reports that Corian Garrison, 25, was pulled over for making an illegal right turn and for a seatbelt violation.

Police found a joint and hydrocodone pills in the car during a search. Garrison, a Bradford County deputy, admitted to the marijuana possession but said a nurse who is an acquaintance of his gave him the pills.

Garrison was booked into the Alachua County jail on charges of marijuana possession and drug possession without a prescription.

The Associated Press contributed to this report.
