Deer found dead and bloodied in college dorm

It might have been a prank, but nobody is laughing.
An investigation is underway after someone dumped a dead deer in a college dorm in North Carolina.
Students discovered the dead deer Monday in a third-floor apartmenta at Davidson College, and then across campus another student found what appeared to be blood inside an elevator in a residence hall.
Davidson students having been chatting about the two incidents on social media sites, including Yick Yak, since the gruesome discovery.
Some believe it’s a prank, but very few people found the humor in it.
“That’s a little bit creepy,” said Julie Burkley.
"I'm surprised if someone is responsible they’d take a deer’s life for a prank. It seems very childish to me,” said Javier Robles.
College officials sent an email to students warning the action was disrespectful to housekeeping, and asked students to reveal who is responsible.
Campus police are still investigating the incidents.
