A Florida father is in trouble with the law after police said he took his daughter and her friend to a strip club.

Police said Jose Manuel Arguelles took his 16-year-old daughter and her 17-year-old friend to the Pink Pony club, allowed them to use drugs and dance on stage, The Miami Herald reported.

Arguelles was charged with child neglect, allowing a child under 18 to do cocaine and smoke marijuana, and eight counts of sexual performance by a child to promote sex, the Herald reported.

The strip club visits came to light after the 17-year-old's mother found pictures and video on a cellphone of the teens apparently using drugs in the club. Police said the girls admitted that Arguelles took them to the club several times since his daughter turned 16.

Arguelles told police he's the club's promoter.

The club has been shut down, and has a week to make its arguments to a judge as to why it should be permitted to reopen.
