A dog was attacked and killed by a crocodile at a Florida golf course Saturday.
The owner witnessed the incident while walking the dog off leash at the Cranston Golf Course in Key Biscayne, Florida, according to NBC Miami.
NBC Miami reported that the dog was exploring near the water when the crocodile bit it.
Florida Fish and Wildlife official Lorenzo Veloz said the incident is a warning to pet owners.
