Shoppers at a Kohl's in Indiana had a wild shopper in the department store with them.

"At around 7:30 last night conservation officer Nicole Baumann was dispatched to the Valpo Kohls due to a coyote that attempted to enter the store and would not leave the vestibule," the Indiana Department of Natural Resources said in a statement. "She and two Valparaiso police officers entered the vestibule and were able to get the coyote to leave unharmed."

The DNR also shared pictures of the coyote, which was in between the inner and outer automatic doors of the store.

CBS7 reported that the animal appeared frightened.

"The coyote was kind of wedged in a corner, behind a garbage can just looking completely scared," Baumann said.

Baumann and two other officers used a bench and the garbage can to create a barrier and enough noise to scare off the coyote.

Eventually, it ran out of the store and into a nearby wooded area.
