Couple, infant killed by concrete falling from overpass

A Bonney Lake, Washington, couple in their 20s and their 6 to 8-month-old son were killed Monday when a concrete barrier and construction debris fell from a highway overpass onto their passenger truck, police said.

Officials said workers were installing a sidewalk on Highway 410 when the concrete barrier, a permanent part of the overpass, fell onto the cab of the truck.

According to a Facebook post by the pastor of EastPointe Foursquare Church in Sumner, where the couple served as youth ministers, the victims were Josh and Vanessa Ellis and their baby Hudson.

According to EastPointe Foursquare Church's Facebook page, there will be a candlelight vigil for the Ellis family Tuesday evening.
