Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton laid out her anti-ISIS strategy in a speech on Thursday.
"Our goal is not to deter or contain ISIS, but to defeat and destroy ISIS," Clinton said during a speech at the Council on Foreign Relations.
"We should be honest about the fact that to be successful, air strikes will have to be combined with ground forces actually taking back more territory from ISIS," Clinton said.
Clinton's speech came in the wake of last week's Paris terror attacks, for which ISIS claimed responsibility.
