Celebs respond to Kim Kardashian's Paris attack

Kim Kardashian was robbed Sunday by attackers who fled on bikes while she was visiting France for Paris Fashion Week.

The reality star was held at gunpoint in her Paris hotel room and robbed of millions of dollars worth of jewelry, including a ring that is reportedly worth more than $4 million and a jewelry box worth more than $6 million.

The source told E! News that Kardashian eventually "broke out of her bindings and got out" after the masked men left.

Kardashian's representative confirmed to The Huffington Post that she was "badly shaken but physically unharmed."

When news of the altercation hit headlines, many people took to social media to make light of the situation. But many celebrities, including Jamie Lee Curtis, Leona Lewis, Charlie Puth and Chrissy Teigen, came to Kardashian's defense, saying no one deserves a scare like the one she had, including famous people.

Anne Hidalgo, the mayor of Paris, tweeted a message saying she condemned the aggressive attack, and that Kardashian "will always be welcomed in Paris."
