It seems like there's a National Day of [fill in the blank] for everything nowadays.
And, well, according to NationalDayCalendar.com, there kind of is, which got us wondering how to be ready for the really important days to come in December.
Tuesday, December 1, is a doozy.
It's National Pie Day but also National Eat a Red Apple Day. Maybe we can compromise by eating a red apple pie and calling it a day?
The first day of December is about doing good as well, as it's Rosa Parks Day, World Aids Day and Giving Tuesday. The latter is for making charitable donations in the holiday spirit.
Wednesday, December 2, isn't as packed, but there are some notable observations to be had: National Mutt Day, Special Education Day and the International Day for the Abolition of Slavery.
The tree lighting at New York's Rockefeller Center will be happening at night as well.
Now stop us if you've heard this before, but Friday, December 4, is National Cookie Day, which is followed by National Microwave Oven Day on Sunday, December 6, and National Brownie Day on Tuesday, December 8. If you missed any of the above (or are planning ahead), feel free to celebrate on that Tuesday as well as it's also Pretend to be a Time Travler Day.
Of course there's Christmas, Hannukah and Kwanzaa in December as well.
Plus National Thank-you Note Day, Crossword Puzzle Day, National Ugly Christmas Sweater Day and more are happening, too.
If you have a December birthday, there's probably something specific for you to observe on that day so enjoy it, and remember to breathe because each day is a blessing!
