A cat was saved from an apartment fire caused by fireworks Sunday afternoon.
The Charlotte Fire Department tweeted a photo of the cat rescued from the fire.
They say the cat is wet, but in good condition.
It took 70 firefighters 54 minutes to put out the three alarm fire at the condominiums on Spyglass Place. 12 units were affected, officials said. Of the affected units, eight were occupied. A medic said a person was treated at the scene for minor burns.
Damage is estimated at $275,000.
