One person is dead after a two-vehicle accident that split a car in half on an Ohio highway Thursday evening.
The victim was thrown from a vehicle into a ditch and was pronounced dead at the scene. Two others involved in the accident were transported to Miami Valley Hospital with serious injuries.
Another victim, who was trapped inside a multi-passenger van for 30 minutes before being rescued, had unknown injuries.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
