Police arrested William Kelley, 42, on a charge of failure to comply Sunday morning, according to Benton County Jail records. Authorities subsequently charged him with one count of burglary, police said.

Kelley called authorities around 6 a.m. Sunday to report a person on a bicycle had stolen his 1992 Chevrolet pickup truck, police said. The suspect, described as a man riding a 10-speed bicycle, saw that Kelley had left his keys on one of the pickup's seats, according to officers.

While reviewing surveillance footage of the incident, police said they learned "Kelly was at the location because he was stealing items from a business across the street." Authorities did not say what was stolen. In video released by police, a person can be seen throwing items at the truck as the suspected car thief races away.

Police said Kelley's truck was not immediately recovered.

Authorities continue to investigate.
