Clothier Urban Outfitters is facing social media backlash for its design and sale of a sweatshirt with the logo of Kent State and red splotches that resemble blood splatter.
You'll recall from your history books that Kent State in Kent, Ohio, was the site of a fatal shooting by Ohio National Guard members of students protesting against the Vietnam War.
Four unarmed college students were killed on May 4, 1970.
Urban Outfitters had only one Kent State sweatshirt for sale. A search of the site for the controversial clothing has turned up no results, but if you click on the link from the tweets below, it comes up as sold out.
