Deputies and wildlife officials were called to remove a black bear Friday that got into a house and locked itself in a room then took a nap in the closet.
The bear managed to open the door to a mudroom of a house and then locked itself inside, shredding the room to pieces before going to sleep atop a shelf in the closet, the Missoula County Sheriff's Office said.
Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks officers tranquilized and removed the bear in good health.
"This is another good reason to lock up, as we also have unconfirmed reports that he tried two other closets before he decided this one was juuuuuust right (kidding)," officials with the Sheriff's Office said on social media. "But seriously, lock up."
