The blizzard of 2015 has left some on the small Massachusetts island of Nantucket without power, including Nantucket Cottage Hospital.
But the storm didn't stop one little boy from making his entry into the world.
Cayden Keith Moore is now a blizzard baby, not one conceived during the storm, but one born during the snowfall.
With the help of Dr. Margaret "Mimi" Koehm, Cayden was born at 3:35 a.m. to Danielle Smith and Corrigan Moore, just after the island lost power.
According to WFXT, clear heads and a backup generator saved the day as hospital staff said they reached out to another expectant mother. She agreed to stay at the hospital for the duration of the storm.
