Athlete waits outside Gillette Stadium for Patriots tryout

May 25, 2016A Massachusetts man is going to extreme lengths to try to make his dream come true.
If you've driven by Gillette Stadium recently, you may have seen him -- Abiola Aborishade has been on Route 1 in Foxborough every weekday for the last month.
He's holding a sign asking the Patriots for a tryout. It says: "Talented, hardworking athlete, hoping for a chance to prove myself."
Aborishade is a former player at UMass Dartmouth. So far, he hasn't gotten a tryout, but several Patriots players have met with him.
Malcom Butler even posted a picture on social media with the caption, "Never give up."
