A chance encounter with a former president at an Alaska airport this week led to photos that will be treasured for a lifetime.

Jolene Jackinsky told The Associated Press she was at the Anchorage International Airport Monday with her baby daughter Giselle when she spotted former President Barack Obama.

She said Obama approached her to ask about her daughter and agreed to pose for a few photos.

When Jackinsky's husband approached, Obama joked, “I’m taking your baby,” Jackinsky said.

Jackinsky said Giselle remained calm during the encounter. “It was only five minutes but it was a moment that will last forever,” she said.
