In a two-part tweet Thursday morning, President Donald Trump slammed "Morning Joe" hosts Mika Brzezinski and Joe Scarborough, writing that the show had low ratings and claiming that Brzezinski "was bleeding badly from a face-lift" during an encounter in January.

The tweets were the latest and most vicious anti-media statements made by the president in recent weeks.

Trump wrote in a tweet around 8 a.m. that he heard that the “poorly rated” MSNBC morning show “speaks badly of me.”

“Then how come low I.Q. Crazy Mika, along with Psycho Joe, came to Mar-a-Lago (three) nights in a row around New Year's Eve, and insisted on joining me? She was bleeding badly from a face-lift. I said no!” he wrote.
