Republicans are angrier with their politicians than Democrats. Two  in 10 Democrats feel betrayed by their officials, compared with over half of Republicans feeling betrayed by GOP politicians.

The GOP supports amnesty for illegal immigrants. Over half of Republicans polled say immigrants who are in the country illegally should be offered the opportunity to apply for legal status.

Not many New Hampshire voters are identifying as Independent. Four in 10 Republican voters identify as independent, with similar numbers for Democratic voters.

Ideologies have separated from party identification. Only three-quaters Republican primary voters say they're conservative. Two-thirds of Democratic primary voters identify say they are liberal.

Voters care more about the issues than personality. Most Democratic and Republican voters made decisions based on where candidates stand on the issues, not their personal qualities, like shared values.
