Conservative radio host Glenn Beck upset some fans over the weekend with a Facebook post that offered a surprising viewpoint of the presidential election.

The post was published Saturday, after the tape was released in which Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump talks in a vulgar way about women. Beck begins the post by saying, “Every person, each of us must decide what is a bridge too far.”

He goes on to say that, “If the consequence of standing against Trump and for principles is indeed the election of Hillary Clinton, so be it. At least it is a moral, ethical choice.”

As for the consequences of a Clinton presidency, Beck says, “If she is elected, the world does not end.... Once elected, Hillary can be fought … Her nominees can be blocked, her proposed laws voted down.”

Beck told Vice News on Monday that he had considered voting for Clinton, but will instead vote for Constitution Party candidate Darrell Castle.

Beck is calling for Trump to step down, in interest of the future of the Republican Party.
