Christie announced his presidential run on June 30, 2015 at a live event in Livingston, N.J.

- 1984 – Graduated from University of Delaware.
- 1986 – married Mary Pat has four children.
- 1987- graduated from Seton Hall University School of Law. Joined a Cranford law firm, and was named partner shortly after.
- Elected Freeholder in Morris County, served as Director of the Board in 1997.
- 2002 – named U.S. Attorney for the District of New Jersey in 2002.
- 2010 – Sworn in as Governor
- 2013 – Elected to second term
- Christie lowered property taxes in New Jersey as Governor, getting a 2 percent cap.
- He balanced the state budget four times at the same time not raising taxes.
- More than 143,000 private sector jobs have been added to New Jersey.
