Can you see why people are so upset at Paul Ryan’s latest Instagram photo?

July 18, 2016House Speaker Paul Ryan posted a group selfie on Instagram on Saturday.
Ryan captioned the photo saying it might set a world record for most Capitol Hill interns in a selfie.
But, Mic reported that some social media users noticed the picture for a different reason:
They say the photo shows a lack of racial diversity.
Former "American Idol" contestant Clay Aiken, who unsuccesfully ran for Congress in 2014, joked about the photo:
According the Washington Post, Capitol Hill's demographics do not reflect the country's demographics. There are initiatives that exist to promote more diverse employment.
As it stands, if Americans want to see diversity in Congress, then it’s up to more Americans to make their way to Washington.
