The list of speakers expected to appear at this week's Republican National Convention is out, and some of the choices have people raising eyebrows.

Among the scheduled speakers are Scott Baio, an actor best known for his role as Chachi Arcola on the sitcom "Happy Days," "Ducky Dynasty" patriarch Willie Robertson and actor Antonio Sabato Jr., best known for his roles on the soap operas "General Hospital" and "The Bold and the Beautiful."

Baio told Fox News on Saturday that presumptive GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump personally asked him to speak at the convention after they met at a fundraiser. He called the invitation "completely unexpected and out of left field."

"He had given a speech and he was walking out," Baio said. "I looked at him and said, 'Mr. Trump, Scott Baio,' and he goes, 'Oh my God,' and he said to me, 'Did you want to speak?' and I went, 'Here?' and he goes, 'No, no, no, at the convention.'"

The news was met with overwhelming snark on social media.

The first day of the RNC is scheduled to kick off at 1 p.m. ET in Cleveland. Other scheduled speakers include Trump's wife, Melania, former Texas Gov. Rick Perry and Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-Alabama).
