On Saturday, President Donald Trump officially announced U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit Judge Amy Coney Barrett as his nominee to replace the late Ruth Bader Ginsburg on Supreme Court.
In addition to being a judge on the 7th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, she is a professor at Notre Dame Law School.

I will oppose the confirmation of Judge Amy Coney Barrett, as I would any nominee proposed as part of this illegitimate sham process, barely one month before an election as Americans are already casting their votes. Americans deserve a voice in this hugely consequential decision.

Amy Coney Barrett’s nomination to the Supreme Court is the product of a corrupt, illegitimate process that undermines the will of the American people. Alongside her dangerous, ultra-conservative record, she’s not fit to serve on the Supreme Court.

Amy Coney Barrett is an excellent choice by President @realdonaldtrump I’m confident she will serve on the Supreme Court with distinction - guided by the Constitution and the rule of law. 🇺🇸 https://t.co/jTOubnA6QU

A vote for Judge Amy Coney Barrett is a vote to eliminate health care for millions in the middle of a pandemic.
