Macaroni and cheese is the latest dish to get the pumpkin spice treatment.
Delish reported Kraft Macaroni & Cheese is offering pumpkin spice Kraft Mac and Cheese in the U.S. following the response to Kraft Dinner in Canada launching a version, which got a lot of attention on social media.
Set for release in October in Canada, the new item has notes of cinnamon, allspice, ginger, nutmeg and cloves “slathered in KD cheese,” according to Kraft Dinner.
“After seeing the huge response Pumpkin Spice Mac & Cheese received north of the border, and even hearing some heated debates about it down here, we had to bring it to the U.S. for Americans to try,” Martina Davis, brand manager for Kraft Macaroni and Cheese, said in a statement. “Who knows? Maybe it could become a new North American fall favorite.”
By bringing it to the U.S., Kraft is giving away free limited-edition boxes of the pumpkin spice mac and cheese, which people can enter to win on Twitter.
Last year, Spam got a lot of buzz when it released limited-edition Spam Pumpkin Spice, which sold out in hours.
