A man wanted in connection with a southeast Atlanta homicide was arrested Tuesday after investigators tracked him to Ohio.

Derrion Johnson, 19, was identified as a suspect in the shooting death of Stephon Middleton, whose body was found Thursday lying on Custer Avenue near a federal penitentiary.

Investigators believe Middleton, 19, was walking with another man in the area when the two got into a car together, according to homicide commander Lt. Daniel Genson. There were shots fired, and Middleton’s body was dumped in the street.
