DeKalb County police Tuesday identified the man shot and killed at a Glenwood Road convenience store Monday night as 37-year-old Larandal Roland.

Detectives are still trying to determine if the shooting was self-defense.

Channel 2 Action News reported that a security guard was being questioned in the shooting, which took place outside the Savway Food Mart.

Responding officers found the victim, whose name has not been released, dead in the parking lot from multiple gunshot wounds.

The security guard told detectives the shooting was in self-defense, but witnesses reported that there was an altercation before the shooting, according to Channel 2.

Police told the station that the men have a history of not getting along.

DeKalb police Capt. Stephen Fore said Tuesday that the investigation is ongoing, and no charges have been filed.
