Police are investigating another deadly shooting in Gwinnett County, just 14 hours after they responded to a triple homicide.

Officers were sent to a Norcross apartment complex along Seasons Parkway after a 911 caller reported the shooting about 5:30 a.m. Sunday, according to Gwinnett police spokeswoman Cpl. Michele Pihera.

A man was found sitting in a car in front of the 1000 building, Pihera said. He had at least one gunshot wound, she added.

He was taken to a hospital, where he died. His name has not been released.

No arrests have been made in the incident. The circumstances surrounding the shooting are still under investigation.

“At this time, investigators are exploring all motives,” Pihera said. “Though there is no suspect description, neighbors are encouraged to call if they have cameras or Ring doorbells located at their home.”

The incident happened hours after three people were shot to death in a Lawrenceville neighborhood. The bodies of 45-year-old Eugene McClam, 33-year-old Steven Finch and 64-year-old Robert Caverly were all discovered just before 3:30 p.m. Saturday, police previously said.

Officers responded to the Creek Water Court cul-de-sac near Steve Reynolds Boulevard and arrived to find a man in the street with a gunshot wound, Pihera said. He was taken to the hospital and later died.

Officers found a nearby home with a garage door open and looked inside for additional victims. Police found the bodies of two more men who had been shot to death.

Justice R. Lusk, 21, of Stone Mountain, was arrested and charged with three counts of felony murder, three counts of aggravated assault and three counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, Pihera said.

Lusk was captured late Saturday night near the scene of the crime. He was booked into the Gwinnett County Jail on Sunday.
