Atlanta police Wednesday were investigating the predawn shooting of a man found dead inside a vehicle in the driveway of a southwest Atlanta home.
Officers responding to a 3 a.m. call about a person shot in the 3600 block of Bunker Hill Drive found the victim inside a Nissan Frontier pickup truck.
The man, who appeared to be in his late 20s, had been shot multiple times, Atlanta police Lt. Charles Hampton told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
Hampton said that while a motive had not been established, it appeared that the man had just arrived home from work when he was shot.
The victim’s name has not been released.
