A 77-year-old woman with dementia who walked away from her family home on Sunday was found Monday, Cobb police said.
Gwendolyn L. Brown was located about 300 to 400 yards away from her family's Powder Springs home in a wooded area, police said. She was conscious and alert when transported to Wellstar Cobb Hospital to be treated for slight dehydration, authorities said.
Cobb police had issued an alert Sunday afternoon for Brown, who had been missing since 8 a.m.
