The city of Woodstock has called an open house and public input meeting to share plans for a Rope Mill Road Long Term Improvement Plan and a Rope Mill Road 2020 Middle Segment Project.

The meeting is scheduled for 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday in the Chambers at City Center, 8534 Main St., Woodstock. Rope Mill is the street north of downtown where community parades step off.

“The project includes immediate roadway and infrastructure design changes along Rope Mill Road from Angela Court north to Cardinal Drive, as well as potential design changes in subsequent projects over the next two years,” according to a city announcement. “Interested residents and business representatives are encouraged to attend.”
