Stephanie Hill has been appointed executive director of Women in Technology (WIT). The move takes effect on Oct. 17.

She joins the Atlanta nonprofit's executive staff after more than two decades of  experience leading technology and nonprofit organizations. WIT works to support and advance the role of women in Georgia's technology community.

Most recently, Hill served as managing principal, business development for Magellan Associates LLC , a management consulting firm.

Hill earned degrees from  Emory University's Goizueta School of Business and the University of Pittsburgh.
