2 women sought in Cobb robbery

Cobb County police are investigating a robbery by intimidation that occurred in the parking lot of the East Lake Shopping Center in Marietta on Monday.

According to investigators, two females demanded money from another female parked near Marshall's.  The victim gave the perpetrators an unknown amount, and both suspects ran away.

The suspects are described as black with medium skin tone. One suspect was described as 5-feet-7 to 5-8 with a medium build and shoulder-length hair. She was wearing a white top with black slacks and carrying a large black purse.

The second suspect is described as 5-feet-4 to 5-5 and  in her mid-20s to early 30s.  She had a “bob” style haircut with bangs in the front, which could possibly be a wig. She was wearing a black-and-white sun dress.

Detectives are working with businessmen who may have video of the incident. Anyone with information is asked to call 770-499-3945.
