A $100,000 Jumbo Bucks Crossword lottery ticket was sold at Covington Hwy Food Shop in Decatur. The winning ticket was paid Oct. 19, 2016 after being picked up at the retailer.

The lucky ticket was one of at least two winning Jumbo Bucks Crossword tickets claimed in the metro Atlanta area from July to October, according to data from the Georgia Lottery Corporation. The lottery provided data on prizes exceeding $600.

At least $107.8 million in winnings was claimed during that time from tickets sold at area retailers.

All Georgia Lottery profits go to specific educational programs, including Georgia's HOPE Scholarship Programand Georgia's Pre-K program. Check out winning numbers at http://www.ajc.com/lottery/.
